Itinerary
Welcome to Cuba! Today you arrive at Havana Airport. We can arrange a transfer to the hotel for you (optional) or you can organise transportation yourself.

Your tour guide will meet you in the reception at 8:30. In the morning you will visit the Organopónico de Alamar, one of the biggest city gardens in Havana. Here people grow vegetables, produce spice blends, tomato sauces and much more! Later on you will explore the colonial city centre on a guided walking tour which will include lunch at the Cafe Taberna. Afterwards you will visit the Havana Club Rum Museum for some history and cocktails. You will have the rest of the day to do as you please.

After breakfast you will drive to the Las Terrazas nature reserve. Once you have left Havana behind, the landscape changes. The path leads through lush greenery and past colorful painted houses. The municipality of Las Terrazas is located in the hills of the Sierra Rosario. Small lakes, waterfalls, ruins of former coffee plantations and sulphurous springs await you here. Giant ferns, wild orchids and colourful begonias are also characteristic of the region. The once flourishing coffee trade; now live the inhabitants of the small community of the timber industry and the ecotourism.

The trip takes you through central Cuba to the east up to the idyllic island of Cayo Santa Maria. Along the way you will enjoy a traditional lunch in Ranchón la Aguada. Cayo Santa Maria is part of the island chain "Jardines del Rey" (Gardens of the King) and connected by a bridge to the city Caibarién on the main island. Relaxed days lie ahead of you!
