Indigenous Reserve
Get to know about the daily life of the Maleku: Their houses, crafts and other important places in the village will be shown. You will get an impression of how life there used to be and how it still is today. Between 600 and 1,000 Malekus are still living in Costa Rica, therefore they are a small ethnic group; however 70% of its people is still speaking their language. During a hike in the woods you will get much information about plants and their medical benefits. Furthermore you will get to see graves of ancestors. After a dancing show you can enjoy a typical lunch to round off your day trip.

Canyoneering - "Lost Ravine"
Would you like to experience a new adventure? Excitement, sports and fun all in one - well, we can offer you all of this! In the "Lost Canyon" you won't just go climbing inside the ravine and jump into a water basin but you will also rappel down from waterfalls and hike through the rainforest. Don't worry, you will definitely not get lost in the canyon, though its name might let assume this... Your guide will accompany you professionally through this adventure. Nowhere else you will get closer to nature with its beauty and obstacles! After this exertion you will probably need a refreshment - a homemade lunch will let you regain your power.

Cave Tour Venado
We are used to lead our lives above earth... but how does it look underneath our grounds? Today you have the chance to get to know a complex cave system: It is guessed that the cave was formed 15 million or rather 20 million years ago. Subterranean rivers, water basins, cave chambers with stalactites and stalagmites await you there. You will also discover other rock formations and you will probably see one or the other subterranean animal. Don't forget to bring a second set of clothes since you probably won't keep dry. After this exertion you will get treated with fruits of Costa Rican nature.

You will have to take part in some sporting activities so keep your eyes open while rafting down Río Balsa. Surely you or your guide will discover a toucan or a sloth on the waterfront. Enjoy being that close to nature - feel the power of the extraodinary river and get treated with fresh fruit of Costa Rica during a little refreshment! At the end of the tour you are invited to taste a typical Costa Rican meal.
