Starting from Buenos Aires, you'll take a three hour flight to the southernmost city in the world. At the airport of Ushuaia, you will be met by our staff and brought to your hotel. Ushuaia is the capital of Tierra del Fuego and lies between the Andes and the Beagle Channel. You're able to use the afternoon as you please. We encourage strolling down the main street, San Martin, with a wide selection for food and souvenirs. Today is a very special excursion. After breakfast, you will be taken to the local harbor with your guide. From there, you'll start your five-hour expedition through the Beagle Channel, the famous route used in the 19th century by Charles Darwin. You'll pass by various small islands and may even see sea lions! The expedition takes you to the Isla de los Pajaros, on which many species of birds have settled. You'll be getting off at the next island and you'll have the chance to explore the countryside. When you arrive back at the port of Ushuaia, you have the rest of the day to do anything you desire. We recommend visiting the National Park, which stands out by its special vegetation of Tierra del Fuego, consisting of mosses and woods.  Hotel de los Andes*     Breakfast

If you're wanting a little more time on your holiday, you can extend your stay in Tierra del Fuego. Explore the region on a bike ride or hike through the beautiful mountains of Patagonia.
